Well, it was 8 days of not such late nights, lots of laughter, and some really important stuff. T
he late nights ranged from 10.30pm to 2am, when we won the quiz, and were rewarded with 6 bottles of wine.
The laughter came from all sorts of things, like the quiz, the review night and various conversations throughout the week.
The important stuff came, for me, at the 7.30am Methodist communion on the first Sunday. Having made the decision to candidate this time round, and for Presbyteral ministry, it was really confirmed for me when I stepped forward at the communion service to serve the wine to my friends. At that moment I knew I'd made the right decision. God really affimed it at that moment. So, really important stuff.
It was a great time, but it was also good to get home. There's nothing quite like your own bed - especially when there's someone special to share it with.
