Moans, groans, puppy and roses

On antibiotics for a jaw infection, which could result in the loss of 3 or 4 teeth!! Deep joy. So feeling a bit down right now.
And there's been a big bust up between Sue and Zoe, and Zoe has taken some of her stuff to her dads and I think she's planning on living back there, and Sue doesn't want her back here. More deep joy.
Wish I lived alone on a little island, with a huge pile of books and chocolate, and selected friends allowed to visit at times. Life would be much less stressful I'm sure.
Sorry, must stop moaning. It just seems like I've got the only stroppy, stubborn, self-centered 19 year old in the world. And I don't think she's that bad. Sorry, moaning again.
On a more cheerful note, Brighton Pride was great and very sunny too. My service the next day went OK too. And it hasn't rained all week. And the woman 2 doors along from us who does cat rescue got called out to a house to get an abandoned kitten and came back with an 8 week old puppy, a bit of a mongrel but really sweet. She's sort of becoming the 'Close puppy' and is really friendly with everyone, and very snuggly too.
I pruned the roses yesterday in the front garden. Really don't like rose bushes, so pruned them with a large saw at ground level and will be digging the roots out very soon. That really was fun.
