Ho hum. So much for modern technology. I phoned the Methodist offices in London 2 weeks ago to ask when I would find out my interview dates and was told them over the phone, but also that I would receive them by the end of the week. I presumed this meant in the post. When I still hadn't had anything by 10th April I phoned again, only to be told they were e-mailed to me on 2nd. As I hadn't received anything I asked to confirm the e-mail address. That was when I found out they had used the one I had when I first applied to do Foundation Training almost 3 years ago. I gave them my new address and was told the paperwork would be sent out to me. So by Sat 12th, when I still hadn't had anything, I managed to pick up the post sent to my old e-mail that I haven't used for almost a year. Only to find the paperwork was supposed to be back at the office by Friday 11th!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I have e-mailed them, (yes, from my correct address ( the one on my paperwork that went to them in January)) with the details and a request that they accept it late, explaining the circumstances. (NOT MY FAULT - although I didn't say it quite like that)
So I await their decision.....watch this space
